Columns: date, venue, set, position, duration, peak timestamp, key changes, whether it went somewhere else, and a 1–10 that I have never once justified to anyone's satisfaction.
My friend Ben and I disagreed about a 2015 version. Not politely. He said it was top five all-time. I had it at a 6 and could point at the exact minute where I thought it lost the plot. We argued about it for the better part of a year, escalated to a shared document, and eventually stopped talking for reasons that were nominally about Tweezer and were actually about something else entirely, the way these things always are.
We're fine now. He texted me during a version last summer: just a timestamp, no words. I sent back a 9.
That's the whole apology. It was enough.

I was at that show. Section 108. I remember the exact moment you're describing.

Reading this on my lunch break was a mistake, in the best way.
